
RENKEN SIGNS WITH REDS
Daniel Renken (2007) signed with the
Cincinnati Reds after having been drafted in June. He was assigned
to the Reds’ Class A affiliate, Dayton Dragons.The former Trinity
League Pitcher of the Year played with Cal State Fullerton for three
years prior to signing. The Lancers currently have seven alumni
playing in the minors. Good luck and best wishes to Daniel from the
Lancers family.
WALLACH
TRADED TO CUBS
Brett Wallach (2007), who has been pitching this season for the L.A.
Dodgers Class A farm team, has been traded to the Chicago Cubs as a
part of the Dodgers trade for Ted Lilly. Presumably Brett will be
assigned to one of the Cubs Class A teams. Good luck to Brett as he
continues his professional baseball career.

LANCER DRAFTED
Daniel Renken (2007) was taken in the 25th round by the
Cincinnati Reds. Daniel just completed his 3rd season pitching for
Cal State Fullerton.
